Requirements

Base requirements:

knowledge of Linux system as a user and administrator
good understanding of computer/telecom networks (mostly layers 1-4 of OSI model, switching and routing)
some experience in scripting languages like: bash, python
ability to use traffic generators and protocol analyzers (e.g.: Iperf, Wireshark)
troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
good written and spoken English skills

Additional value would be:

commercial experience in cloud infrastructure configuration and management (mostly OpenStack, OpenShift)
experience with NFV and SDN platforms
experience in network acceleration, management and virtualization features like: DPDK, OpenFlow and OvS
commercial experience with Linux virtualization systems (KVM, QEMU, etc)
commercial experience in network systems testing and benchmarking
experience with services deployment tools and containerization (e.g.: Ansible, Docker, Terraform and Kubernetes)
experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery systems

advanced coding in bash and python

development and bring-ups of various cloud/NFV/SDN platforms and services
hardware and software integration
testing (including automation), benchmarking and certification of reference and target solutions
