Linux Embedded C++ Software Developer

Requirements

Formal education in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or equivalent relevant fields
Relevant work experience, preferably in embedded development
Experience with Linux application development for embedded devices
Experience with multi-threaded application programming
Experience with performance profiling and optimization, particularly for applications running in an embedded Linux environment
Knowledge of modern software development best-practices, including unit testing
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English
Experience programming multi-threaded applications in C++.
Audio and/or video domain knowledge (digital signal processing, music technology, codecs, broadcast formats, etc.) or previous experience. developing audio and/or video application software or devices
Experience with Git tools and workflows for source version control.
Passion about music, film or media is always a plus.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal English

Duties

Design and debug applications running on embedded Audio devices (audio interfaces, I/O peripherals)
Write C++ code that is reliable, modular, maintainable, and testable
Work as part of a globally distributed software development team including team members in United States time zones
