Software Architect for Functional Safety

Our customer is a leading Tier-1 of an international well-known car manufacturer working on a next-generation of a Body Control Module for a new car platform. Body Control Module can be considered to be the brain controlling different body parts (different ECUs) of a modern car. You will be a key player in the small development team dedicated to the software safety solution and therefore having a significant impact on the final product delivered to the customer, which ensures the most relevant and exciting safety challenges in the Automotive market.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering experience
  • Minimum 5 years of embedded SW experience, preferably in automotive industry
  • Good software architecture qualifications, especially defining software safety concepts
  • Understanding of automotive E/E architectures and their constraints
  • Ability to decompose and understand complex systems
  • Good knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture, preferably with Vector toolchain
  • Hands-on experience in functional safety requirements and code development according to ISO26262 standard and processes is a strong plus
  • Experience with Renesas MCUs is also a plus
  • Fluent English in writing, reading and speaking

  • Support for software safety analysis and support on software safety concept creation with product architect
  • Defining and review of software safety requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with safety manual of SEooCs components
  • Close cooperation with product architect
  • Leading development team and distributing activities to team members
