Systems Architect, Network and Service Management

Want to be a part of cloud native 5G revolution? We have an interesting opportunity for System Architect in our customer project. More specifically, we are helping our customer evolving products to be cloud native, built on a microservices architecture. Automation is the key in 5G networks and we invest heavily into it in order to meet the challenges of our customers. Open-source technologies are also needed to be able to collaborate effectively across the industry, logically we are using them also in our projects.

Requirements

An ability to perform in a team setting, working in a multi-cultural & international environment..
An ability to drive technical discussions, analyze & explain technical requirements and problems, steer new product development.
Having systems approach and solution oriented mindset is vital.
Experience in Network Management systems, especially OSS (Operations Support Systems) with an understanding of related applications and use cases.
Familiarity with system architecture and system design principles.
Knowledge of emerging network evolution
Desire to learn new skills in areas such as Service and Resource Orchestration, Assurance and Analytics, Network Management.
Familiar with Network Operations, Radio & Transport technologies and Mobile Core Networks.
Familiarity with Opensource initiatives (e.g. ONAP, OSM, ORAN and Standards (e.g. TMF, ETSI MANO, 3GPP).
Experience in developing cloud native applications, deployed on cloud technologies (e.g. VMWare, Redhat Openshift, AWS, Azure) & container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker).
A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in software/electronic engineering or related science and technology subject area.
5+ years of relevant Software Development or Architecture experience.
Proficiency in one or more languages; including Java & C++, experience in UML is an advantage.

Duties

Defining requirements for design teams & specifying high-level system architecture and solutions to drive product implementation.
Delivering technical solutions with Product Managers, Product Owners, various stakeholders and collaborating with our customers to understand and capture their needs.
Leading challenging technical discussions and workshops to carve out cutting edge technical solutions, using the newest technology stack to realize the use cases for OSS applications.
Being a part of rapid experimentation of solutions(PoC’s), using latest Cloud technologies.
