Test Engineer

We are looking for a tester to join our team and support it with his/her knowledge and experience. In your daily work you will develop automated tests, but you will also prepare test environments, set up databases and configure DNS. You will have influence on processes related to the quality and security of our applications, support implementations and diagnose problems. We are not looking for a specialist in one area, but someone who has broad interests.

We are a small team, so far located entirely in Szczecin. We have been working 100% remotely since the start of the pandemic, although in the future we would like to meet once in a while for planning at our office. The team is responsible for software development for products such as SSL certificates, CodeSignig and SMIME. The software is developed for Certum, so we have a Polish team and Polish customer. The project and team leader is Karolina, who has been working for Certum for many years.

Requirements

theoretical knowledge and experience in software testing,
knowledge of test automation tools, e.g.: Selenium WebDriver, SoapUI,
knowledge of relational databases and SQL/PLSQL language,
knowledge of issues related to the administration of Linux environments and virtualization,
communication skills and ability to share knowledge,
analytical thinking and problem solving skills,
responsibility, self-reliance and attention to detail.

Welcome:

ISTQB certification,
knowledge of scripting languages,
knowledge of Java 8,
knowledge of PKI and security issues,
knowledge of SCRUM methodology.

Duties

creating automated tests for applications developed in Java,
functional testing of delivered solutions for compliance with requirements,
developing test scenarios and creating test documentation,
design and configuration of test environments,
collaborating with the software development team,
supporting implementations and diagnosing problems,
development of processes related to quality and security of applications.
